Proven applications:

• Direct drilling - improved seed soil contact - leave behind drill when shifting along the road - no transport wheels needed. Truck and crane tyre rollers excellent on rough stones. Can be towed faster in stones than Cambridge rollers. On damp soil, truck and crane tyre rollers push down a useful range of stones. Ballasted weight of crane tyre rollers comparable to that of five foot steel roller - additional weight can be added.

• Conventional cultivation - great for packing down plough furrows before disking and/or final cultivation before drilling - gives good firm seed bed. Truck and crane tyre rollers easy to tow in soft going / pumice and sand . soil does not build up in front of roller because of larger rolling diameter. Great in areas too stony for Cambridge roller.

• Dairy tracks -  excellent to compact clay / fill / pumice and to push down but not break stones - markedly reduces cow hoof damage - pure magic for this!

• Repairing paddocks after winter pugging.

• Repairing grazing damage and reconnecting grass roots in sand country.

• Rolling potatoes after spraying to close cracks in soil and protect tubers from sunlight.
